Stake Side
A scorebook for horseshoe pitchers — help with scoring, league nights and practice tracking.
Cancellation is the standard for most league and tournament play — only the closer shoe scores each inning, and equal ringers cancel out. Count-all scores every shoe in count and suits casual and backyard play. Pick either from New Game.
A ringer encircles the stake. A shoe within six inches of the stake, and any leaner, is also in count. Anything farther away is out of count and scores nothing.
All games, sessions and league data are stored only on your device. Stake Side has no account and no server, so there is nothing to back up remotely — keep your device backed up through iOS if you want a copy elsewhere.
Only to attach a photo of a signed paper scoresheet to a league night's results. That photo stays on your device.
The Rules tab opens the NHPA's own rule book, tournament calendar and charter directory in a browser built into the app, so you never have to leave Stake Side.
Deleting a game or session from the Log is permanent. There is a confirmation step before anything is removed.
