Stake Side

Stake Side is a horseshoe pitching scorebook that runs entirely on your device. This policy explains, in full, what the app does and does not do with your information — which is nothing beyond what you enter and see on your own phone or tablet.
Nothing. Stake Side does not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal data, usage data, or analytics of any kind. There are no accounts, no sign-up, no advertising identifiers, and no analytics SDKs of any kind built into the app.
Every game, inning and shoe result you enter is written to a local data file inside the app's own storage. It never leaves your device.
Distance, turn, and shoe-by-shoe results for practice sessions are stored locally in the same way.
If you photograph or choose a photo of a signed paper scoresheet for a league night, that image is stored locally with the night's results and is never uploaded anywhere.
Small settings — such as whether haptics or sound are on, your preferred count-all target, and reminder toggles — are stored locally using standard iOS preference storage.
Stake Side asks for camera access so you can photograph a signed paper scoresheet at a league night, and for photo library access so you can attach an existing photo of one instead. Photos you choose are picked using Apple's built-in picker and are stored only on your device; the app never uploads them.
Stake Side can schedule local reminders — for an upcoming league night or a daily practice nudge — entirely on your device. These notifications are scheduled by iOS itself and never involve a remote server. The app asks for notification permission only when you turn a reminder on.
The Rules screen can open pages published by the National Horseshoe Pitchers Association (its official rule book, tournament calendar and charter directory) inside the app. Loading those pages is subject to the NHPA's own privacy practices once the page is open; Stake Side itself does not track what you view there.
Stake Side does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect information from anyone at all.
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this same address with a new "last updated" date.
